About Pausing for Grace

2015-03-05 14.50.22-1

I am a wife, mother, friend, advocate, and writer. Mostly in that order.

I believe in transparency and openness. I pray for inclusiveness and integration. I advocate for children and minorities.

I find cooking, cleaning, and gardening extremely rewarding. I like reading, crocheting, and people watching. Laughing is my favorite, just after thinking. I am trying to live my life with purpose, intent, gratitude, genuine kindness, and radical hospitality. I search the world, other people, and myself for answers, inspiration, and motivation. I have faith in the good of humanity, and hope for authentic peace. I struggle, but try, to live according to  my priorities rather than my obligations.

Pausing for Grace is about taking time to recognize the grace granted to me, and the grace I can give to my family, friends, neighbors, and strangers. It is about going against the modern push for quickness and instant gratification. It’s for all of us looking to slow down and experience each other more fully. It’s about growing and realizing our potential to affect change. It’s about transcending ourselves. And ultimately, Pausing for Grace is about love.

I hope you find what you’re looking for, if not here, then somewhere.

Agere Contra, friends.
